Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Senior Director to shape enterprise-wide employee and labor relations strategy, advise senior leaders, and ensure a fair, compliant work environment that supports exceptional patient care.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role leads a team, oversees bargaining activities, workforce investigations, and risk management while partnering with legal, compliance, and clinical leadership to foster engagement, belonging, and operational continuity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Industrial Relations required.
• 10+ years of progressive HR, employment compliance, and labor relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise employee and labor relations strategy across MaineHealth.
• Oversee collective bargaining, contract administration, grievances, and negotiations.
• Champion inclusion, engagement, and respectful workplace culture.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, and risk leaders to mitigate organizational risk.
