Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Director of Business Development for the NIC Division’s C&IS portfolio to lead growth across DoD, Intelligence Community, and international customers.

You will direct a team of BD and capture professionals, shape deals with leaders across units, and ensure a strong customer experience while integrating technology investments and roadmaps. The role requires 50% travel, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline with 10+ years BD/capture/strategy experience, or Master’s with 8+ years.
• Extensive experience with DoD/DoW, military services, and U.S. Intelligence Community customers, requirements, budgeting, and acquisition processes.
• Demonstrated hands-on leadership of complex BD and capture efforts with a record of winning large, complex opportunities.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams across distributed locations.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, including executive-level briefing experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Top Secret/TS/SCI/SAP access as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic growth roadmap for the C&IS Business Unit.
• Lead end-to-end BD lifecycle for C&IS, from opportunity identification to award and transition.
• Implement and manage disciplined capture processes to improve win rates.
• Shape deals in partnership with operating unit leaders, program managers, and R&D.
• Oversee proposal management, win themes, pricing, and bid/no-bid decisions.
• Drive 360-degree customer engagement across domestic and international customers.
• Expand strategic partnerships and industry collaborations to strengthen competitive position.
• Align technology investments with market needs and maintain roadmaps.
