Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Director of Business Development for the NIC Division, responsible for growing the C&IS portfolio across DoD, IC, and international customers.

You will lead a cross‑functional team, drive capture strategies, and manage end‑to‑end pipeline and proposals, aligning technology investments with market needs and policy developments. A robust travel schedule and active clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline with 10+ years of business development, capture, strategy, or related experience.
• Experience with DoD/DoW, military services, and U.S. Intelligence Community customers, requirements, budgeting, and acquisition processes.
• Proven leadership of complex BD and capture efforts with a track record of winning large opportunities.
• Strong communication, executive briefing, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, as required.
• U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance and program access as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth roadmap for the C&IS Business Unit aligned with NIC and Mission Systems sectors.
• Lead end‑to‑end BD lifecycle from opportunity identification to proposal submission and transition to execution.
• Shape deals in partnership with operating unit leaders, program managers, and R&D.
• Oversee proposal management, win theme development, pricing and bid/no‑bid decisions.
• Engage with domestic and international customers and develop strategic partnerships.
