Job summary

Frederick Community College is seeking a Director of Organizational Assessment and Accreditation to lead the development, implementation, and refinement of systems that support evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement. The role partners with the Chief Foresight and Decision Support Officer to align assessment, planning, budgeting, and accreditation processes across the college.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education, educational leadership, public administration, assessment, organizational development, institutional effectiveness, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in assessment, accreditation, institutional effectiveness, strategic planning, institutional research, or related higher education functions.
• Demonstrated experience leading assessment, continuous improvement, accreditation, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Experience facilitating collaboration and working effectively with leaders, faculty, and staff across multiple organizational units.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and documentation of organizational assessment processes to support continuous improvement and effectiveness.
• Coordinate the College’s Continuous Improvement Model, supporting divisions, units, and teams in establishing goals, strategies, action plans, and KPIs.
• Facilitate institutional divisions and departments in the collection, analysis, interpretation, and use of evidence to evaluate performance and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with institutional leaders to develop, monitor, and communicate measures of organizational performance and strategic progress.
• Design and deliver professional development related to organizational assessment, continuous improvement, accreditation, KPI development, and evidence usage.

Education

Master’s degree in higher education or related field

Doctoral degree (Desirable)
