Job summary

Tiello is seeking a Director of Project Management focused on steel fabrication and erection for Southeast-based work. This remote role will oversee PM teams, review bids, issue POs/subcontracts, and coordinate with trades to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance across projects up to $50M+. Eligible candidates should have 10+ years of steel project management experience and TEKLA EPM proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years managing steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Experience managing projects up to $50M.
• TEKLA EPM software required.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, MS Products a plus.
• Willingness to pass background/drug screen.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of project managers.
• Manage large scale structural steel fabrication and erection projects from cradle to grave.
• Issue Purchase Orders and Subcontract Agreements.
• Order materials as needed.
• Coordinate with other trades, subcontractors, and erectors.
• Monitor weekly production and project performance.
• Monitor safety at the job site.
• Ensure the job is built per contract drawings and specifications.
• Ensure the project is completed within the project estimate.
• Track the job’s progress.
