Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond seeks an energetic Service Delivery Director to lead the Sports department at Powhatan and Goochland Family YMCAs. You will supervise staff and volunteers, shape program strategy, and expand community impact through youth and adult sports, camps, and partner initiatives.

This full-time role requires evening and weekend availability and a track record of managing large programs and budgets, with strong relationship-building skills and commitment to inclusive community

Qualifications

• A college degree in a related field is preferred
• Minimum of two years of programmatic experience in youth sports
• Experience in leading staff and volunteers is critical to success
• Managing large sports programs and budgets is essential
• Computer proficiency and program administration experience are essential
• CPR/First Aid certifications may be required

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Sports department, supervising staff
• Grow the sports bases to increase community impact and organizational reach
• Manage youth and adult sports programs, camps, and related programming
• Supervise part-time staff, gym monitors, and volunteers
• Build relationships with members and community organizations to engage participants
