Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking an energetic Experience Delivery Director at the Manchester YMCA to support daily branch operations and elevate member experiences. You will lead service teams and oversee program areas while delivering operational excellence in a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, staff development, and cross-department coordination, with a focus on member satisfaction, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Experience supervising staff across multiple program areas.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Willingness to obtain wellness/aquatics certifications as needed.
• High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Y in the community, building relationships with members and stakeholders.
• Promote inclusion and engagement, creating a welcoming environment for diverse populations.
• Oversee branch operations during shifts, ensuring smooth team and member experiences.
• Support program areas (aquatics, membership, wellness, family, sports) with high-quality delivery.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff within departments; foster collaboration.
• Ensure branch cleanliness and maintenance to promote safety and inviting facilities.
• Support membership and program initiatives including retention and registration.
• Serve as Executive Director during absence and collaborate across teams.
