As the Director of Speech Therapy Services, you’ll lead a dedicated team of speech-language pathologists and a symbol board technician, set departmental goals, and ensure that residents receive exceptional speech, language, and communication services. You’ll oversee clinical quality, mentor clinicians in creating innovative, person-centered programs, and promote the effective use of assistive technology. Through hands-on leadership, collaboration, and creative problem-solving, you’ll inspire your team to deliver services that enrich communication, independence, and overall quality of life for every resident.
As of 2/1/26, the new salary range: Salary Range: $82,857.00 - $136,714.00. Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work. Work requires visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing; viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading; visual inspections involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
