SAIC is seeking a growth-driven Director of Business Development for the Defense Space Market, focusing on Global Mission Data Dominance with the US Space Force. The role reports to the VP of Defense/Civil Space BD and Strategy and leads strategy, capture efforts, and customer engagement to meet Space Battle Management and C2 objectives.

Remote work is possible with DMV/CO/CA preference. The position requires 15+ years in defense BD, a technical or business degree, and an established network

Qualifications

• 15+ years in industry business development for space/defense
• Experience leading teams in shaping new opportunities
• Front-end customer engagement and proposal development
• Strong written and oral communication in the defense domain
• Familiarity with FAR-based solicitations and BD best practices

Responsabilités

• Identify and drive pipeline for US Space Force and related DoD opportunities
• Shape long-term growth strategies in space C2 and mission integration
• Develop teaming, price-to-win, capture plans and win strategies
• Build relationships across SAIC and government stakeholders
• Engage high-level government and industry decision-makers
• Promote SAIC as a trusted mission integrator through thought leadership and market presence
