Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Director of Solution Engineering to lead a team shaping data, automation, and AI solutions at scale. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Platform teams to transform business needs into reusable data products and capabilities used across the company.

The role emphasizes building trusted data foundations, guiding AI-enabled experiences, and coaching leaders to grow in a fast-evolving environment. A Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution engineering, data and analytics, consulting, or related technology fields.
• Experience leading technical teams, including managers and senior individual contributors.
• Strong foundation in engineering principles, system design, and modern development practices.
• Experience with mobile applications, client-side technologies, SDKs, instrumentation frameworks, digital experiences, or event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with the data journey from instrumentation to reporting, analytics, automation, and AI experiences.
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for coaching others and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of managers, architects, and solution engineers to solve complex business and technology challenges.
• Partner with Adobe leaders to identify opportunities, define priorities, and determine where data can create impact.
• Transform business needs into reusable data products, services, and capabilities across the company.
• Shape trusted data foundations for discovery, understanding, and use.
• Guide the creation of AI-enabled data-driven experiences that improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Platform teams to move ideas from concept to adoption.
• Encourage practical use of AI and automation to free time for innovation.
• Establish patterns, reference implementations, and best practices for speed and quality.
• Support leadership development through coaching and mentorship.
• Foster an inclusive environment enabling learning, experimentation, and success.
