Job summary

The Director of Software Engineering at Sierra Nevada Corporation leads the end-to-end software development lifecycle with a focus on Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps maturity across cloud environments.

You will manage a team of managers, developers, analysts, and DevOps professionals, driving innovation through Infrastructure as Code and AI/ML while aligning technology initiatives with business goals and security/compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of experience in Software Development and/or DevOps, or related position.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field of study is required.
• Progressive experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the long-term vision and roadmap for software development and DevOps practices.
• Drive organizational transformation toward Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps maturity.
