Job summary

HELP USA INC. seeks a Director of Social Services to lead and manage a comprehensive social services program in a Bronx shelter, aimed at rapid placement into permanent housing and fostering residents' self-sufficiency.

You will oversee assessments, counseling, service planning, and linkages with entitlements, medical, educational, and mental health providers. You will supervise a team of Case Managers, Housing Specialists, and Employment Specialists, coordinating all case management and service

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's required.
• Minimum five years of management experience with homeless populations.
• Experience with family service planning and team supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services through a team of case managers and specialists.
• Coordinate case management and service planning.
• Liaise with subcontractors and service providers.
• Identify needs and develop new services to meet client needs.
• Supervise and train social services staff.
• Monitor performance and report to regulatory bodies and funders.
