Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Elkin, NC is seeking a Director of Social Work to lead social services in a long-term care setting. The role requires at least two years in long-term care, compassion for residents and families, and the ability to coordinate across teams to ensure comprehensive care planning.

The position emphasizes collaboration, documentation accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements, with competitive benefits and a focus on quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or other human services areas; state-issued credential (LSW, LCSW, etc)
• At least two years of experience in long term care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in completion of MDS, CAA and CP, BIMS and PHQ9
• Strong organizational skills as evidenced by the ability to multi-task
• Have compassion for the elderly and for their families
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated investigation skills related to customer complaints and other resident concerns
• Competency in electronic charting, PointClickCare preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
