Job summary

Cadence is looking for a Systems Engineering Director to lead the Die-to-Die Interface IP team. In this role, you will drive the development of high-performance D2D SerDes IP products, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure robust analysis and modeling.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD or M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering, extensive experience in high-speed SerDes, and strong analytical capabilities. A salary range of $178,500 to $331,500 is offered, along with various benefits.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working with high speed high performance SerDes and PHYs.
  • Ability to think through engineering systems end-to-end and identify bottlenecks.
  • Deep understanding of high speed SerDes architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead D2D Systems analysis team and contribute to technical development.
  • Define, model and analyze high performance D2D SerDes IP microarchitecture.
  • Develop infrastructure for product development and testing.

Skills

High speed SerDes and PHYs experience
Mathematical skills (Fourier analysis, filter theory)
Coding skills for simulation and modelling
Signal processing (DSP) algorithms
Debug and problem-solving skills

Education

PhD or M.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering
