Job summary

Qualifications

• Public company SEC reporting experience.
• Direct experience preparing and filing Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Experience with Section 16 reporting (Forms 3, 4, and 5).
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own authoring, preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Oversee Section 16 reporting (Forms 3, 4, 5).
• Support equity accounting activities (grants, vesting, distributions).
• Collaborate with Fidelity on equity administration processes.
• Manage and review SEC Reporting team workload.
• Provide leadership to the SEC Reporting Manager.
• Assist with month-end close activities.
• Support consolidations and SOX compliance initiatives.
• Serve as point of contact for external auditors on SEC reporting.

We’re hiring a Director of SEC Reporitng for one of our top clients located in Chandler, AZ.This role will lead the company's SEC reporting function, overseeing 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings, technical accounting matters, equity reporting, SOX compliance, and reporting process improvements. This is a hybrid position with 4 days on-site in their Chandler HQ, and one day remote.

Responsibilities:

• Own the authoring, preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
• Oversee Section 16 reporting, including Forms 3, 4, and 5.
