Chartwells K12 seeks a Director of Dining Services to lead our team in Florence, SC, delivering outstanding service and memorable culinary experiences for a premier K12 district. You will oversee strategic planning, budgeting, and operational excellence to shape the future of our dining programs.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, P&L accountability, and the ability to drive profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and safety across high-volume foodservice operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology/Management/Hospitality or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of foodservice management experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and catering trends.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of salaried managers and frontline associates.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
• Own the annual budget and control costs.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Build relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
• Perform other duties to support efficient dining service operations.
