Job summary

Chartwells K-12, part of Compass Group USA, seeks a Director of Dining Services for Conecuh County Schools in Evergreen, Alabama. Lead a six-school program serving about 1,100 students, overseeing 14 frontline associates and delivering high-quality, home-style meals in a community-focused setting.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong culinary experience, capable of building relationships with administrators, staff, and the community while expanding participation and supporting

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Management, Hospitality, Culinary, or Nutrition preferred.
• Three or more years of food service management experience.
• K-12 dining experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial acumen with strong business intuition.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
• Works with the team to create nutritious, high-quality food for students.
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
• Acts as a liaison between Chartwells, the client, and the community.
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the dining services operation.
