Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead a team focused on optimizing business processes and SAP systems across our manufacturing footprint. You will partner with operations, IT, and finance to deliver scalable SAP solutions that improve efficiency and drive business performance.

The role requires strong leadership, SAP functional expertise, and cross-functional collaboration, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 15+ years experience; or 13+ with graduate degree; 19+ without a degree.
Strong understanding of business process design and system support methodologies.
Hands-on experience with multiple SAP functional areas (PS, PTM, PMMO, QM).
Experience with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement system enhancements.
Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team for business process support in SAP environments.
Translate operational needs into scalable SAP process and system solutions.
Drive end-to-end process improvements, standardization, compliance, and user experience.
Oversee SAP module support and integration with related systems.
Manage issue resolution with IT, SAP analysts, developers, and third-party support.
Lead requirements gathering, mapping, testing, and deployment of SAP enhancements and projects.
Ensure processes align with policies and regulatory requirements.
Support SAP upgrades, migrations, and transformations.
Develop process documentation, procedures, and governance standards.
Establish KPIs and service metrics for process effectiveness and system performance.
