Job description

Our client is a well-established, family-owned water filtration company manufacturing water filtration products for municipal and industrial clients. Their products and systems can be customized to meet customer specifications and exceed performance criteria for surface water, ground water, water reuse, drinking water, wastewater treatment, industrial and minerals processing. They’re in immediate need of a Director of Sales, to lead the sales team and create sales strategies that drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics that drive revenue growth and achieve business objectives.
  2. Lead and manage the sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs, including but not limited to, revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  5. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Recruit, train, and develop the sales team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful.
  7. Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  8. Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  9. Develop and maintain sales reports and forecasts to provide visibility into sales performance and trends.
  10. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in B2B sales and lead generation.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in B2B water filtration sales.
  2. 5+ years of management experience preferred.
  3. Proven track record of building and managing successful sales teams and driving revenue growth.
  4. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of sales professionals.
  5. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed business decisions.
  7. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related field.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
