- Position Summary:
The Director of Sales is responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals and grow market share. This role leads the sales department, manages key customer relationships, and works closely with marketing, product development, and executive leadership to drive business growth. Experience with HubSpot and CRM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand into new segments.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Forecast sales trends and develop annual and quarterly budgets.
- Collaborate with marketing to generate leads and support brand positioning.
- Negotiate and close major deals and partnerships.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust plans to maintain competitive advantage.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to executive leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business helpful but not required.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HubSpot and CRM. Proficient in MS Office.
- Demonstrated success in scaling sales teams and entering new markets.
- Strong understanding of pipeline management and sales forecasting.
