We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and strategically driven individual to lead the Sales & Marketing efforts at Equinox Resort, a landmark luxury destination in the heart of Vermont. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading the Sales and Marketing efforts at a resort property, including team leadership, strategic planning, and multi-channel campaign execution. This leader will be creative, adaptable, and data-driven, with the ability to motivate and mentor a seasoned Sales, Marketing, and Conference Services team. A strong understanding of luxury travel trends, digital engagement, and guest experience design is essential.
Job Description
Manage and achieve team goals for both Group and Transient segments across Business Travel, Leisure, and Events.
Develop and drive cohesive sales and marketing strategies, including exceptional marketing plans, content calendars, and targeted campaigns.
Oversee the resort’s digital strategy — optimizing paid media, SEO/SEM, social, and website performance to increase bookings and brand visibility.
Create compelling on-property promotions and signature programming in collaboration with operations and guest experience teams.
Partner with PR and creative agencies to amplify special events, seasonal campaigns, and media exposure aligned with the resort’s luxury positioning.
Analyze industry trends, STR data, and market intelligence to uncover new opportunities and protect market share.
Play an active role in direct sales — managing key accounts, leading site visits, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Represent the Equinox brand at local and national sales trips, trade shows, and tourism partnerships.
Lead the development of the resort’s annual sales, marketing, and revenue management business plans.
Collaborate with revenue management to develop yield strategies that meet budget, forecast, and growth targets.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning within the Sales, Marketing, and Conference Services departments.
Enhance community presence through active engagement in local organizations, chambers, and tourism boards.
