As a Director of Sales at Milestone, you will:

  • Connect with senior digital executives in hospitality to understand their needs and challenges and present solutions using Milestone product portfolio.
  • Build, lead and grow your own book of business, selling to senior and C-level executives at hotels, management companies, independent hotel groups, and hotel chains the full portfolio of Milestone software and service solutions.
  • Drive significant growth in a designated geographic territory for both new and existing business, achieving, or exceeding individual quota.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of strategic account prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, conferences, and internal SDR lead generation support from hotel & hospitality-based companies.
  • Build and track all opportunities in the company Salesforce system
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process by partnering with Sales Engineers, Product Team, Executives, Centers of Excellence, Customer Success, etc.
  • Provide ongoing customer feedback to the company Product and Marketing teams designed to improve solutions offerings.
  • Represent the company in a business closing role at appropriate industry conferences and trade shows.
  • With some assistance be able to build customized sales presentations, respond quickly to RFI/RFPs, and write final contract for customer sign-off.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Consultative sales experience selling to senior executives in hospitality
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets and quotas and exceeding the numbers
  • Familiar with digital marketing – CMS, Websites, , Paid, Analytics
  • Use of Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
  • Communicate effectively across departments particularly once a deal is closed and transferring details to the Onboarding Team
  • Creative, flexible and a team player
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in person/phone
  • Flexible to travel
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in hospitality
  • Commitment to high standards and adherence to company policy
