RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Director of Sales, Financial Institutions is responsible for full-cycle sales and building relationships with new Financial Institution (FI) partnerships.

  • Identify, prospect, and close new FI partners to meet and exceed annual goals
  • Drive, manage, and develop the sales plan for new FI partnerships that help drive revenue
  • Generate new sales leads and drive adoption
  • Negotiate FI partnership agreements
  • Perform daily efforts to generate lead sources and pipeline management
  • Understand and remain updated on banking industry insights & issues, specifically community banking
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:(Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field AND 5 years of relevant experience; OR HS/GED AND 9 years relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel, could be up to 50%
  • 1-3 years of sales experience within the financial services industry
  • Understanding of community banking current events & industry issues
  • Presentation experience
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
  • Effectively manage sales process from beginning to end; from prospect identification & development to successfully closing the deal
  • Negotiation skills are a must as this role will review agreements with FI prospects
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:(Desired but not required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years relevant experience
