Job summary

Jackson + Coker is seeking a Director of Sales Development to lead and develop a high-potential team of early-career sales professionals. You will coach, mentor, and drive performance through structured development milestones, partnering with sales leaders to align efforts with strategic objectives.

You will manage 8–15 associates, conduct coaching sessions, and implement data-driven reporting and forecasting to optimize productivity and progression in a fast-paced healthcare staffing

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, sales leadership, or a related field.
• Proven success coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals.
• Experience leading teams and driving performance improvement.
• Strong background in business development, prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship building.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable coaching strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Sales Development Associates, providing coaching and mentorship.
• Manage and support approximately 8–15 associates as they progress through the sales development journey.
• Conduct coaching sessions, call reviews, shadowing activities, role plays, and career development conversations.
• Drive associate readiness, performance, and progression through established development milestones.
• Partner with sales leaders and business stakeholders to align development efforts with organizational objectives.
• Analyze activity, conversion, and productivity data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Create and optimize reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement tools.
• Support performance improvement initiatives through coaching, accountability, and development planning.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancements of sales development programs, processes, and training strategies.
