Job description

Dorel Juvenile is the world's leading juvenile products company. Our well‑known products and strong brands are available in more than 100 countries. All our talented employees share the same mission: to Care for Precious Life.

The Director of Sales Analytics will play a pivotal role in shaping sales strategy, enhancing go‑to‑market execution, and improving sales performance across channels and retailers. This leader will oversee a newly formed analytics team with a strong focus on Amazon performance and Scintilla initiatives, while collaborating cross‑functionally to generate actionable insights, elevate data‑driven decision‑making, and support ongoing business growth.

Your mission

In the Director of Sales Analytics role, you will bring together key sales data, identify performance drivers, and influence strategic decisions through compelling analytics and storytelling. You will partner closely with U.S. sales leadership, global BI teams, and cross‑functional peers to ensure alignment on KPIs, dashboards, reporting tools, and strategic priorities. This role requires strong analytical expertise, a deep understanding of retail and sales cycles, and the ability to lead and mentor a high‑performing analytics team. If you are passionate about data, insights, and leading teams that shape sales performance, we’d love to hear from you!

This position does not support immigration sponsorship.

Key responsibilities

Work closely with U.S. sales leadership, global BI/Analytics teams, and cross‑functional partners to:

  • Bring together sales data across accounts and channels to curate analysis that uncovers trends, highlights performance drivers, and guides decision‑making.
  • Create, define, and refine sales‑related KPIs to ensure alignment across teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to U.S. sales leaders by surfacing trends, anomalies, and strategic opportunities through compelling data storytelling.
  • Serve as the liaison between U.S. sales teams and global BI/Analytics partners for analytic requests and ad‑hoc reporting needs.
  • Partner with global BI/Analytics teams to design and maintain sales reporting dashboards and visualization tools.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a high‑performing team of data analysts who deliver insights that drive key business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI‑driven insight generation.
  • Anticipate business challenges and opportunities; collaborate with leadership to implement data‑driven solutions.
  • Analyze market and retailer sales data to identify trends, support growth strategies, guide promotional activities, and proactively identify replenishment issues.
Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sales, category management, commercial analytics, or related roles — preferably within consumer goods, retail, or durable products.
  • Strong sales acumen with a deep understanding of go‑to‑market motions, sales processes, funnel dynamics, and performance levers.
  • Functional expertise in capacity planning, sales forecasting, and market opportunity assessment.
  • Strong statistical background and experience with structured retail measurement data (NielsenIQ/Circana), including marketing mix modeling, pricing analytics, and trade promotion optimization.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. retail cycles and retailer partnerships.
  • Prior experience working with retailer‑specific portals and data tools (e.g., Scintilla/Luminate, POL, Vendor Central).
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing and mentoring high‑performing teams.
  • Proficiency with data analytics platforms and visualization tools such as Power BI.
