The Position:

Club Mass Business Development Sales Director

Position Summary

We are looking for a talented, dynamic, and seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of building sales in consumer-packaged goods. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate would have "big company" fundamentals combined with growing brands in an entrepreneurial environment. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue across all channels through strategic planning and promotions. You will manage the brokerage network, make customer presentations, plan assortment decisions, and execute promotions within your region. This is an exciting entrepreneurial opportunity to create a career-changing experience while earning a competitive salary plus performance-based bonuses.

Desired Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years with a strong consumer packaged goods background and sales fundamentals trained by a large food company.
  • Success in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of retail departments, especially In Store Bakery.
  • Full understanding of the food distributor network and processes.
  • Experience in grocery, mass, natural, club, and private label sectors.
  • Experience managing multiple broker teams.
  • Ability to travel regularly.

  • Oversee sales performance across categories and channels to meet business plans.

Position Requirements
  • Strong leadership and management skills with experience growing a sales organization.
  • Knowledge of Challenger Sales principles.
  • Financial skills: budgeting, forecasting, planning, P&L management.
  • Deep knowledge of the food industry and grocery aisle.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Strategic thinking at the corporate level.
  • Organizational skills, adaptability, creativity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Position based out of a home office.
