Come join our team at Hyatt House Nashville at Vanderbilt! This is your chance to join a collaborative team at a top-tier extended stay property in the heart of Music City. Come lead with purpose at OTO Development! We are offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus payable after 90 days for this role.

Salary Range: Nationally: $35.30 - $43.30
*Rate depends upon state/market*

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Director of Sales.

What will you be doing most days?
  • Responsible for growing existing accounts and generating new business
  • Develop annual sales plan in support of organization strategy and objectives
  • Direct the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
  • Ensure communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives, and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with marketing
  • Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses
  • Implement approved distribution strategies and manage multiple channel selling strategies
  • Build, develop, and manage sales team capable of carrying out needed sales and service initiatives
What are the requirements for this position?
  • Demonstrated successful sales experience (hotel sales experience a plus!)
  • Action-oriented with strong negotiating skills
  • Prior leadership skills directing efforts of others to achieve budgeted expectations
  • Strong business acumen and passion for numbers and meeting sales goals
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods as job dictates.

Travel Requirements

Minimal, occasional travel outside the local area and overnight.
