Cross Creek Hospital in Austin, TX seeks an experienced Risk Director to lead the facility's risk management program and promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will oversee incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and proactive strategies to prevent harm and liabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare, risk management, business, finance, or a related field required.
• Two or more years’ experience in a risk management position required.
• One or more years of supervisory experience preferred.
• CPRM Preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire)

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and oversee all risk management activities to promote a safe environment.
• Oversee investigations and collaborate with Legal to assess liability and notify stakeholders.
• Develop and implement infrastructures and systems that support patient safety.
• Lead a Safety Committee and identify measurable safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with department leadership to monitor compliance with policies and laws.
• Work with Patient Advocate to review complaints and exposures.
• Coordinate Safe Catch Program implementation.
