South Texas College seeks a Director of Risk, Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability to lead the college-wide EHS and sustainability efforts within the Facilities Operations and Maintenance context.

The role collaborates with multiple directors to develop and implement health, safety, and environmental programs, manages staff, and oversees training, inspections, and audits across the district.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

Mansioni

• Manage compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to health and safety of operations.
• Evaluate and improve EHS procedures, programs, and activities.
• Supervise EHS staff and coordinate with other facilities leadership on safety programs.
• Oversee worker safety training programs district-wide within Facilities Operations and Maintenance.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Science Division on Laboratory Safety Plan updates.
