Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) seeks a visionary Director of Environmental Health and Safety to lead agency-wide safety, compliance, emergency medical readiness, and business continuity efforts. You will guide managers and staff, set department goals, manage budgets, and collaborate with TAMUS offices and regulators.

The role reports to the Assistant Agency Director of Administrative TEEX Services and emphasizes risk reduction, facilities safety, and strong cross‑functional

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field; 10 years EHS experience with 2 years supervisory.
• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Experience managing multiple EHS programs and professionals.
• Certification in a safety or environmental field preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provides leadership and strategic direction for the TEEX Environmental Health and Safety Department.
• Oversees safety and emergency medical programs and readiness for TEEX operations.
• Directs environmental compliance programs and supervision of the environmental program manager.
• Leads Emergency Management and Business Continuity planning and exercises.
• Directs culture of health and safety initiatives and safety program development.
• Interfaces with regulatory agencies and external partners as the primary TEEX liaison.
