Job summary

Job Juncture seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Director to lead the safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship programs across operations in Houston and beyond. The role focuses on hazardous waste management and RCRA Part B permitting.

You will develop and manage comprehensive safety programs, lead audits, coordinate training, and drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with operations and legal is essential to meet regulatory obligations and corporate risk standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of EH&S experience, including global framework knowledge.
• 5+ years in a managerial role.
• OSHA 30-hour Training certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Spanish language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental laws and regulations.
• Develop and manage comprehensive safety programs, including business continuity and workers’ compensation.
• Lead audits and inspect safety equipment for proper functionality.
• Coordinate and participate in inspections, ensuring timely feedback and correction of deficiencies.
• Travel to field sites as required for training, audits, and meetings.
