Job summary

Grenada Clinical Services seeks a Director of Respiratory Services to plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative and clinical activities of the respiratory care department for pediatric and adult patients with breathing disorders.

You will establish departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead staffing, budget, and quality initiatives to maximize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an accredited respiratory program with four years related experience; master's preferred.
• Associate degree with six years related experience.
• NBRC RRT/CRT certification and Mississippi licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and monitors all operations, functions, and resources to assure optimal and safe patient care in respiratory services.
• Directs staffing allocation; selects, evaluates, and retains competent staff.
• Develops and implements professional standards and quality control measures for patient care and regulatory adherence.
• Evaluates department operations and implements changes and training as needed.
• Acts as liaison between medical staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinates services with vendors to ensure efficiency and cost-effective supplies.
