Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas seeks a Director of Respiratory Care to provide clinical leadership and program direction for pediatric respiratory services. You will lead RCPs, educators, and staff with the medical director to align clinical operations with strategic goals and ensure high-quality, safe patient care.

The role requires extensive leadership in pediatric critical care, collaboration across departments, and a commitment to developing staff while advancing respiratory care practices

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a critical care pediatric clinical role.
• 2+ years in a clinical leadership role.
• Masters degree required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing quality and safety of respiratory care practices.
• Monitor daily operations with managers and team leaders for safe practices and data-driven improvements.
• Establish and audit staffing schedules to meet service demands with safe, cost-effective resources.
• Collaborate with the medical director and stakeholders to improve service excellence.
• Lead clinical educators, managers, team leaders, RCPs and students to achieve high-quality outcomes.
