Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee sustainable crisis and community support programming at Josselyn.
  • Provide oversight and supervision of peer specialists and crisis therapists.
  • Ensure shifts are properly covered by adequate staffing.
  • Gather data and input from community members, guests, and clients to meet programming needs.
  • Oversee budgeting for resiliency programming and participate in future crisis programming.

Job Summary

TheDirector of the ResiliencyCenter isresponsible fordevelopingandoverseeing crisisand community support operations in theResiliency Center. The Directorwill oversee theadministrative, clinical, andoperational functionsof the program including shift scheduling and management, coordinating program activities, and supervision of the staff. TheDirector willwork to gather data and input from community members, guests, and clients to ensure that the needs are being met by the programming. Idealcandidatewill possess strong skills in the following categories: leadership, program development,crisismanagement, communication and clinical.The director willbe heavily involved in future planning for upcoming crisis stabilization program.

Essential Responsibilities and Metrics
  • Develop and oversee sustainablecrisisand community support programmingat Josselyn
  • Provide oversight, supervision and management of peer specialists and crisis therapists
  • Ensure that program shifts are properly and efficiently coveredby adequate staffing
  • Work togather data and input from community members, guests, and clients to ensure that the needs are being met by the programming.
  • Oversee function and budgeting forResiliencyprogramming
  • Participate in future programming of upcoming crisis stabilization programming
  • Partake in future planning for crisis programmingwith a focus on child and adolescent crisis programmingwhich includes hiring additional team members
  • Foster relationships with community resources and participate in community related activities
  • Represent the Center with integrity, abide by the ethical statement of the Center and protect confidentiality
  • Proficiency with confidentiality, client rights, safety, and infection control, incident and sentinel event reporting and personnel policies
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field required
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) required
  • 2-5 years of experience working withclients (across the life span) in crisis
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with program development preferred
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong ability to be flexible with workflow and day-to-day activities
