The Josselyn Center is seeking a Director of the Resiliency Center in Northfield, IL to lead crisis and community support operations, oversee staff, and manage program development and budgeting. The role focuses on data-driven planning, confidentiality, and collaboration with community resources.

The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in a related field, licensure (LCSW/LCPC), and 2–5 years of crisis experience plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • LCSW or LCPC licensure required.
  • 2–5 years of crisis-related client experience.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with program development preferred.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong ability to be flexible with workflow and day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee sustainable crisis and community support programming at Josselyn.
  • Provide oversight, supervision and management of peer specialists and crisis therapists.
  • Ensure that program shifts are properly and efficiently covered by adequate staffing.
  • Collect and input data from community members, guests, and clients to ensure needs are met.
  • Oversee function and budgeting for Resiliency programming.
  • Participate in future programming of upcoming crisis stabilization programming.
  • Plan for crisis programming including child and adolescent crisis programming; hire additional team members.
  • Foster relationships with community resources and participate in related activities.
