Job summary

Distinctive Living in Naples, FL is seeking a Director of Resident Experience (Full-Time) to oversee all resident activities at Fairways at Naples. You will coordinate internal and external events, craft the monthly activity calendar, and ensure activities align with resident preferences while communicating with the management company.

The role requires 3+ years in assisted living or memory care, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required; advanced degree preferred in related fields.
• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in assisted living or memory care preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assess resident interest and activity needs at move-in and follow up with residents to tailor programs.
• Coordinate daily resident activities within budget; develop monthly activity calendars and arrange entertainment.
• Organize quarterly events that can support marketing efforts; collaborate with Community Relations Director and staff.
• Provide and staff transportation for activities and medical visits; schedule outings on the monthly calendar and coordinate with the assisted living community.
• Ensure safety and compliance; assist with investigations and worker communications in case of injuries.
• Foster teamwork, initiative, and a positive impact on residents and coworkers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
