GreatAmerica Financial Services Corporation seeks a seasoned Financial & Regulatory Reporting Director to lead regulatory filings, GAAP financial statements, and external reporting. You will partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure accuracy and timely disclosures in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes ownership of reporting controls, interaction with regulators and auditors, and leadership of a team to enhance reporting processes and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience with regulated financial environments and working with external auditors/regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reporting packages.
• Direct external financial reporting and disclosures in GAAP.
• Coordinate external audits and respond to regulator inquiries.
• Develop accounting position papers and disclosure documentation.
• Improve reporting quality and automate processes for timeliness.
