Job summary

GreatAmerica Financial Services, Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Director of Financial & Regulatory Reporting to lead regulatory filings, GAAP reporting, and executive-facing financial communication. You will partner with Treasury, FP&A, and Accounting to drive timely, accurate reporting in a regulated banking environment.

The role emphasizes controls, external audits, and the advancement of reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or regulatory reporting experience.
• Experience within regulated banking environment preferred.
• Experience working with external auditors and/or regulators.
• Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting controls, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and submission of regulatory filings and reporting packages.
• Oversee quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
• Develop recurring financial reporting packages for executive leadership and business units.
• Maintain the financial reporting control framework and coordinate audits.
