Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Director of Quality, Risk and Patient Experience at BID-Plymouth. This on-site leadership role drives quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, infection prevention, and patient experience across the hospital.

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, you will align with LEAN principles, lead regulatory readiness, and partner with system-wide leaders to achieve performance goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
• Current Massachusetts RN license and 5–10 years of leadership in quality, safety, risk, or performance improvement.
• Experience with regulatory readiness, LEAN/Six Sigma is a plus, strong communication and change leadership.

Aufgaben

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, patient experience, infection prevention, quality analytics, and interpreter services.
• Lead development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality and safety initiatives using LEAN, Six Sigma, and project management methodologies.
• Direct readiness for surveys by Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulators; embed regulatory preparedness into daily operations.
• Oversee risk management program, case reviews, and coordination with legal, medical staff, and clinical leaders.
• Lead infection prevention and control programs; advance patient experience and service excellence.
• Serve as strategic advisor to executive leadership and maintain relationships within BID-BILH and external agencies.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Sciences, or a related healthcare field

Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license

Five to ten years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare quality, patient safety, risk management, regulatory affairs, accreditation, or performance improvement

Demonstrated experience leading regulatory readiness activities, quality improvement programs, patient safety initiatives, risk management functions, and multidisciplinary performance improvement efforts

Exceptional communication, relationship management, presentation, and change leadership skills

Other clinical credentials (MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD) will be considered but are not required
