Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, seeks a Director of Quality, Risk and Patient Experience to lead quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory readiness. The role drives LEAN-based initiatives, performance analytics, and interpreter services oversight, partnering across clinical and administrative domains.

The position demands a RN or relevant healthcare leadership background, strong communication, and collaboration skills, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree required in a health-related field (Nursing, Admin, Public Health, Health Sciences)
• Excellent communication, relationship management, presentation, and change leadership abilities
• Experience leading regulatory readiness, quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for quality improvement, patient safety, risk management, infection prevention, and interpreter services.
• Lead development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of quality and safety initiatives.
• Oversee regulatory readiness for Joint Commission, CMS, and state bodies; ensure ongoing compliance.
• Direct risk management programs including investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Lead infection prevention efforts and patient experience and service excellence initiatives.
• Promote interpreter services and equitable language access across the organization.
