Job summary

DataOne Systems in Dallas, TX is seeking a Director of Quality & Risk Management to lead our Layer 1 infrastructure quality program, drive ISO 9001 compliance, and elevate operational excellence across field operations.

You will manage a team of Quality Auditors, partner with Operations, Engineering, and Project Management, and deliver measurable reductions in defects and rework while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field quality audits and teams.
• Hands-on experience maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Ability to partner with Operations, Engineering and PM to reduce risk.
• Strong data-driven approach to drive quality improvements.
• Customer-facing quality liaison during audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Auditors responsible for field inspections, project audits, and quality verification.
• Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including processes, documentation, metrics and audit readiness.
• Evaluate Layer 1 installations (fiber, copper, structured cabling, data center infra) for compliance with standards.
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement to reduce defects and rework.
• Serve as a quality leader and customer-facing resource for audits, reviews, and issue resolution.
• Partner with Operations and Project Management to improve execution and customer satisfaction.
