Job summary

Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA, seeks a Director of Quality and Performance Improvement to lead a comprehensive PI program. You will develop a hospital-wide program, create scorecards for service lines, and drive performance in quality, safety, patient satisfaction and value.

The role requires a Bachelor's (preferably healthcare) and a Master's is preferred, with 4–5 years in healthcare and 1–4 years in quality improvement, plus strong communication and coordination across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a healthcare related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• State RN licensure or license in healthcare field preferred.
• 4-5 years healthcare experience; 1-4 years quality improvement experience.
• Good computer skills.
• Experience in reviewing charts for quality care issues; detail oriented and organized.
• Good communication skills both verbally and written.
• Experience with Medical Staff communication.
• Coordination of internal departments and external entities to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Certified professional in healthcare quality preferred (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a comprehensive Performance Improvement program.
• Create scorecards for all service lines with defined outcomes and benchmarks.
• Coordinate hospital-wide PI activities and ensure quality initiatives are communicated to the Board of Trustees.
• Collaborate with Administration and Leadership to apply evidence-based practice and improve care.
