Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Quality Engineering to lead our global QE organization for AdTech platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in AdTech ecosystems, a strong grasp of AI-driven quality practices, and a proven track record of driving automation-first strategies. You will be responsible for defining the QE vision, leading a high-performing team of 100+ professionals, and ensuring world-class quality across our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the QE strategy aligned with organizational goals, with a focus on innovation, automation, and AI-enabled quality solutions.
• Lead the transformation of quality practices to meet the unique demands of the AdTech ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, data pipelines, and real-time bidding systems.
• Drive quality governance across all product lines, ensuring measurable quality KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a 100+ member global QE team including managers, architects, automation engineers, and test analysts.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration across geographies.
• Develop leadership succession plans and capability development programs.
• Architect and champion AI-powered testing approaches including predictive analytics for defect prevention, intelligent test case generation, and anomaly detection in large datasets.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, OTT, and connected TV platforms.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to embed shift-left and continuous testing practices in the SDLC.
• Ensure robust performance, security, and data validation testing for large-scale, low-latency AdTech platforms.
• Act as the primary QE liaison with executive leadership, product owners, and client partners.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to improve product quality, time-to-market, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience

• 25+ years in IT industry with progressive experience in Quality Engineering & Assurance.
• 10+ years in senior QE leadership roles managing large, distributed teams (100+ people).
• Proven experience in AdTech (e.g., DSP, SSP, ad serving, attribution, programmatic systems).
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and practical application in testing & automation.
• Good understanding of cloud-based testing ecosystems (AWS / Google Cloud Platform).
• Deep understanding of QE 101s.
• Strong stakeholder management, budget ownership, and vendor governance experience.
• Exceptional communication, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
