Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers seeks a Director of Property Development to lead a team taking new and remodeled tire center locations from site approval through due diligence, design, permitting and turnover to Construction. This role builds a scalable development platform to support long-term company growth.

The candidate will collaborate with Real Estate, Construction, Legal, Finance, and local municipalities to manage the pipeline, budgets, schedules, and consultant relationships while resolving

Qualifications

• Experience: 8–10+ years in commercial development or project management with multi-site experience in retail, automotive, restaurant, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and present complex information to executives and municipal boards.
• Knowledge of site feasibility, entitlement strategies, design disciplines, and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage Property Development Managers; set performance expectations and scalable processes.
• Oversee pipeline, budgets, schedules, risk mitigation, and executive reporting.
• Partner with Real Estate on site feasibility, zoning, SIRs, environmental and title matters.
