Job summary

Fleet Data Centers is seeking a Director of Land Development in the US to guide pre-development for data center campuses. You will lead site diligence, master planning, and permitting across multiple jurisdictions, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to secure approvals and drive project timelines.

The role requires strong budgeting, stakeholder management, and persuasive communication to advance entitlements, with travel across markets as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, real estate development, architecture, planning, or equivalent.
• Current or past Professional Engineer licensure greatly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site diligence, campus master planning, entitlements and permitting for data center projects.
• Manage pre-development budgets and forecast capital draw by phase.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for approvals and hearings.
• Represent company before local government and utilities during entitlement processes.
