Northrop Grumman in Roy, Utah, is seeking a Director of Programs 1 – Production Master Planner to lead the integration of IMP/IMS, WBS, and EVMS for a large-scale defense program. The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience with EVM and schedule integration, and close collaboration across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and finance.

The position offers a 9/80 schedule, competitive salary, and relocation assistance. DoD Secret clearance is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years in a program-oriented environment.
• Minimum 5 years of formal people leadership experience.
• Experience with EVM and IMP/IMS on large aerospace/defense programs.
• Experience with enterprise-wide schedule integration tools.
• Experience with Program Operations including: Program Control, Scheduling, Contracts, Negotiations, Subcontracts, Data Center, Facility Planning.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) or eligibility for SAP clearance.

Responsabilités

• Establish strategy for alignment and inputs; develop initial what-if plans for Master Plan/IMS integration.
• Baseline and manage dynamic IMS using Primavera P6 or MS Project; maintain traceability with SFC schedules and IMP.
• Manage readiness levels and TRLs; transition parts from engineering to production routing.
• Align EVMS with WBS and CAMs; maintain cost control baselines.
• Perform multi-tier critical path analyses; monitor drive paths across hardware, software, and testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering Change Boards and assess schedule ripple effects.
• Integrate multi-tier supplier production schedules into the prime schedule.
• Bridge shop floor production with flight/ground test schedules; ensure readiness for testing dates.
