Job summary

Volunteers of America Texas seeks a Director of Programs to oversee a suite of programs at a single location, ensuring compliance with funding contracts, SOPs, and VOA-TX policies. You will support the development of program design and strategies, and supervise program staff to meet annual goals and service expectations.

You will maintain positive funding relationships, report outcomes to sponsors, and promote teamwork, integrity, and mission alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field and four years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage multiple programs within one location.
• Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program implementation and monitor client services and reporting.
• Develop annual goals and program design strategies with leadership input.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, statements of work, and funding source requirements.
• Provide direct supervision for programs, organize meetings, and document notes.
• Manage budgets, forecast expenditures, and ensure programs operate within budget.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
