Job summary

Volunteers of America-Texas is seeking a Director of Programs to oversee the Dallas/Fort Worth area, ensuring programs meet funding and policy requirements. The role drives budget management, staff supervision, and program design in collaboration with the Chief Program Officer.

Responsibilities include reporting, contract compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with funders and community partners to advance VOA-Texas’ mission of service to humanity across Texas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or related field is required and supervisory experience is preferred.
• Experience with managing multiple programs and budgets within a nonprofit context is expected.
• Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and ensure alignment with organizational goals and funding requirements.
• Manage contracts, budgets, and reporting for multiple programs.
• Supervise program staff and promote collaboration with the Chief Program Officer and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with funding source requirements and SOPs.
• Foster positive relationships with funding sources and community partners.
