You will coordinate with senior management on policy and strategic initiatives while supporting care coordinators serving veterans under the VA Suicide Prevention grant.

Qualificações

• Extensive formal training in human services, usually with a master’s degree.
• Maintains current knowledge of standards of care through continuing education.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license required.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EHR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provides management and direction to departmental staff.
• Oversees department budget development and compliance.
• Represents department in senior management meetings.
• Employs mentoring to develop staff and conducts appraisals.
• Hires, disciplines, and handles terminations as needed.
• Ensures grant and regulatory guidelines are followed.
• Manages audits of billing, timekeeping, and performance.
• Oversees care coordinators to reduce suicide risk and connect veterans to services as part of a VA grant.
