MY Project USA in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Director of Programs to lead multiple nonprofit initiatives, strengthen operations, and ensure accountability across programs. The role interfaces with senior leadership to advance youth, families, and community outcomes.

The Director will oversee program performance, budgets, reporting, and grant compliance; recruit and coach staff and volunteers; build partnerships with schools, funders, and community partners; and represent the organization at events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in nonprofit-related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Five+ years in nonprofit program management and leadership.
• Experience overseeing multiple programs and driving accountability in a complex org.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, compliance, and reporting; data-driven.
• Ability to build relationships with staff, volunteers, funders and partners.
• Experience in youth development or community-based nonprofit environments preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight across programs, departments, and initiatives.
• Partner with leadership to support day-to-day operations and long-term program success.
• Monitor program performance, budgets, grant requirements, reporting deadlines, and deliverables.
• Develop and improve systems for reporting, accountability, data collection, and evaluation.
• Recruit, coach, and hold staff and volunteers accountable for program execution.
• Coordinate with department leaders to address operational challenges and strengthen outcomes.
• Support grant compliance and financial accountability across programs.
• Build relationships with schools, funders, community partners, and stakeholders.
• Represent MY Project USA at meetings, events, trainings, and partnerships.
• Support organizational initiatives including community programs and social enterprise activities.
